Today I was surfing around the web and found this awesome company called Go Dog Go! that provides outdoor adventures for dogs. They even have a dog bus!
What they do is pick up dogs in their dog bus, travel out into the beautiful outdoors, and then spend one to two hours hiking and playing offleash. Then, the dogs are returned home where they are definitely going to take a nice nap!
There are photos on the website of so many dogs running around outdoors in a big pack, having a fantastic time together! It’s awesome.
The company is located in Squamish B.C Canada, so if you are nearby, be sure to check out Go Dog Go!

We can’t always trot about the globe, adventuring with our canine friends. Luckily, adventure isn’t always too far from home. Lots of cities across North America now offer off leash parks for dogs.
An off leash park is a green space in the city designated as being off leash, meaning you can let your dog run free! These parks are great places for your dog to get better exercise than they could ever hope for from a regular walk, and they can meet other dogs to play with. Over time, if you regularly attend an off leash park with your dog, you’ll probably make some of your own friends too!
To find offleash parks in your city, you can usually visit your city’s webpage and find a listing of the parks.
You can also look up off leash parks online in Canada here and dog parks in the U.S.A here.
You can also find a nice little article about starting your own dog park here.

I thought you might enjoy seeing some photos from one of our adventures with Anna and Mr. Meaty. We were living in Yelapa, a small village near Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We decided to take a day trip to a village named Quimixto, further North. We had to get onto a boat in the morning, returning by boat at supper time.
My big dog Anna doesn’t like boats, so I had a bit of a struggle getting her into the boat in the morning, but once we were settled, the trip was fine! Happy to leap off the boat, we had a great time exploring the village before tourists began arriving later in the day.
Anna and Mr. Meaty loved sniffing around the beach, playing in the water, exploring the village, and then cooling off by laying in the sand under a big tree.
The end of our adventure was a bit more adventure than I had bargained for. When the boat pulled up at the dock, I went to push Anna onto the boat but she refused. Then, as the boat pulled back on a wave, she thought it was leaving without us and decided to jump into the ocean and swim!! I was horrified, because the dock was too high for her to get back up, and the rocks at the edge were slippery and tall. There was a serious risk she may drown or get squished between the boat and the dock as the waves carried it around.
Luckily, I managed to coax her out of the water and onto the rocks, and when we tried again, I was able to get her to jump onto the boat!
Enjoy the photos!

A camp for dogs and their people!
With seminars and activities for you and your dog, you can choose to be active, or just sit back and relax together. Activities for dogs in past camps have included things like agility, crafts, costume contest, makeovers, flyball, scouting, frisbee, lure coursing, pet tricks, tracking, and more.
Accomodations are offered in dorms for females, males, or couples, private rooms, tent or RV, and offsite.
Being a parent, something that I noted is that you can bring your child to camp also as long as you can supervise them and your dog(s)!
Check out the Dog Days of Wisconsin website for more details. Have fun at camp with your dogs!
