I take my pug Chublet to the pug meetup group (check out meetup.com for one near you) and each year, they celebrate Pug-O-Ween. Of course we attended! Here’s a gallery of pics of just a few of the pugs we saw:
Here are some pics of my little boy:
And here is what he looked like when we got home:

I have a very special soft spot for pugs. I ADORE pugs and I think they are just about the cutest creatures on earth.
Imagine how much I squealed and giggled when I found this interactive animation with cute little farty pugs at the Puggy Day Care!
Click on the image above to visit the site and see what I’m talking about! Make sure you click those little puggies!

I took my dogs to the off leash park today. My little boy, Chublet, was quite excited. He’s a pug so he’s very silly and loves to tear around, panting, wiggling, running.
Chublet was running towards me, super excited, full speed ahead. When he reached me, he kind of turned and skidded and FOOOMP, out popped some poop! Suddenly he was stopped and finished the job. He had literally taken a flying poo right in front of me!

In New Zealand, a song that can only be heard by dogs, topped the charts at Christmas. The song, A Very Silent Night, was released to raise money for the SPCA.
I’m not sure how a track that’s completely silent gets to the top of the charts, but I’m glad that they raised a lot of money for the SPCA.
I’m wondering if my dogs would react to this song at all. I’m betting Anna would completely ignore it. She doesn’t notice the television or even raise an ear to weird sounds of the radio. Chublet on the other hand pays more attention to such things and might just like the song. Who knows!

I had to laugh out loud a little when I read this article about Taffy, a springer spaniel who had to undergo surgery to remove the 40th pair of underwear he had eaten.
My pug Mr. Meaty had always loved my underwear. I remember one night when I had a group of friends over to visit, he ran out into the kitchen shaking something black fiercely. He looked so triumphant, super pleased with himself, and I discovered in horror that it was a pair of my panties that he had in his mouth.
It got so bad that he used to sit near my feet when I was changing my clothes, waiting for that pair of underwear to hit the ground. I learned very quickly that I needed to toss all underwear into a laundry basket where he couldn’t get it.
Chublet, my new pug, is the same way! He is a panty stealing enthusiast just like Meaty was and any chance he gets, he steals underwear and runs away shaking it like mad to some hiding place where he can maul them in peace.
Poor Taffy the dog though. Swallowing everyday objects can be very dangerous for dogs so hopefully he’s learned his lesson.

I can’t think of a good word that combines both “dog” and “bunny” together. However, I have photo evidence that a dog mixed with bunny is CUTE!
I found an online store called Trixie & Peanut that sells all kinds of products for dogs, both big and small. Considering I have a large dog and a small dog, I liked finding a site that had products for the two of them together.
What made me laugh out loud though was their section of wigs! REALLY! Wigs for dogs! I found the idea pretty hilarious. However, in that section, I also found the above bunny hat, which is pretty ridiculous but too darn cute to resist! Just imagine my little Chublet wearing that hat! Poor doggie!
If you want to see the site for yourself, you can click here for the wigs and hats, or click here for the main page of the site. They have plenty of products that aren’t ridiculous, so check them out.

I dressed Mr. Meaty up as a bat for Halloween. As I snapped pictures, it became obvious that Anna was jealous of all the attention he was getting. She went and laid down, grunting and kind of pouting. I decided to make her feel better by dressing her up in a huge orange shirt and snapping pics of her too. As you can see in the pic, it made her much happier!
